Yea Bang ya know its crazy, the only time we've made it into a magazine was when one of Tims nieces was backing us up at Eagle, she got the press, go figure........
Dyno time should be fun. Did it some years ago, but with a leaking blower, the numbers came out not right. I have this logger on the way to monitor the AFR https://www.altronicsinc.com/air-fuel/o2alert-air-fuel-recorder-1.html
Sounds much better Carl My first and only Dyno time was also a little fiasko. Learned some, but did not get any good numbers. I belive we had approx 200hp at 2100 rpms Took a dive after that due to a massiv blower leak. Do you have a transbrake innstalled? If so, I would put the dragster on jacks, while running the engine, hit the buttom and slowly open the throttle, and see how it works under load. My dyno is the Track KBS
Yea it was a bad day at the dyno, felt like ignition problems and yep that was it, with all the fuel changes didnt think I would have ign problems turned out the coil wire was not all the way into the dist, boot was all the way down but wire was up about an inch......ug...... spent so much time trying to get fuel right didn't catch the wire issue........ amazing she would idle fine but fall flat on her face above that, hummm oh well at least we found it and now can concentrate on some runs!!!! Was a shame to waste all that money, but the info we learned was actually better than going to the track and waiting for runs.....
Just reviewed this thread for the first time. In your first dyno video look in the area of your distributor at the outer edge of engine on your last pull. Spark jump?
