I have looked all over and cannot find the correct axle housing flange gasket for my Ford 9” big bearing old style flange. It’s the one that is shaped like a “D”. Does anyone know the correct gasket part number?

    Thank you,
    Zak.

  2. They are not really necessary, if you want to use something wipe a bit of silicone on it and bolt up the backing plate.

You can cut odd ball gaskets out of breakfast serial boxes.

I've been looking all over the place for these, but cant find a source. I'm sure gasket maker would be fine, but I'll probably end up making a set.
