Customs MY SHOWROD BUBBLETOP BUILD

Well I am at it again.... The last build thread I put up here was started on Dec 25 2013 so its fitting to start this one on Dec 25, This IS going to be a 60's showrod with a bubbletop{a real bubble},I am still gathering parts as I go but I am starting with a 59 Buick and cutting it up and fitting it to a custom frame AND it will have a nailhead buick motor.. Heres a couple on pics of what I am stating with...So I hope you guys enjoy the ride I know I will..

No problem cutting one up - well, you know.

I love Bubble Tops, and 60's show Rods ! It's like the best blend of both Kustoms and Hot Rods together. So whats not to love. I'll be watching, and thanks for sharing your post and build. Also your 57 is too KOOL for school. THANKS Ron....

I wanna watch, too. I hope to start a thread this summer for my plastic car I have been scrounging parts for. And no, it ain't gunna be a stocker. If I wanted stock would have been cheaper to buy one. This was a "going to be a gasser" that only got torn apart after a wreck, then was set aside for 15 years. What you see is what there was when I rescued it.

you're cutting up one of my favorite cars ever, but there's no other way of cutting it that would be justified. looking forward to this. Makes me think of Daryl Starbird's Superfleck Moonbird.

I also have a 59 Buick in the shed I was saving to hacked up for a custom project. You beat me to it, Damnit! I probably wouldn't have gone to the trouble of doing a bubble top though. Can't wait to see how it evolves.
