Hi , I am in Oregon . I have always enjoyed vintage autos especially traditional hot rods. I love the mechanical aspect of putting a hot rod together. Sent from my SCH-I535 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Welcome! Hard to believe I'm welcoming someone who first joined up here almost 5 years before myself! And, if that's your Model A, we need more pics..............please.........................Don.
The model A was my brothers hot rod . He built with his two hands . We would. Work on that car together whenever possible . Rebuilt the 1958 283 Muncie four speed and 57 ford 9 inch Bodywork after replacing most of the lower body panels. He built the frame from a pair of american stamping frame rails. I built wishbone bungs, Tapped dom tubing for a long set of triangulated ladder bars/wishbone with a transverse leafspring of course. It was barely a 31 model a coupe when he started. . Came with an extra quarter panel that had been cut off a donor body with what must been an axe. He did it all . Unfortunately he passed away due to cancer way to early. I miss him dearly he was the best big brother a kid could EVER have.... He we willed the model A to me . So that makes me the caretaker for the next generation. I have parts and pieces to put together a 27 model t front half of a touring car Chevy II /mercruiser four cylinder 181 cid. S10 5 speed ..maverick rear end a model a frame a 36 ford front axle F100 front brakes Anyway love the hot rods! Sent from my SCH-I535 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Great story, great car. So sorry about the loss of your Brother, sounds like he was a wonderful guy. I'm sure that every time you take the Model A for a ride or even work on it, you feel him there with you.
