MERRY CHRISTMAS !!! -17 @ 4am this morning. Warmed up to -3 @ 2pm this afternoon. Right now it is -13 @ 7:50pm. I think the 5 day forecast is -BURRRRRR !! Oh ya, and more wind. So much for the brass monkeys !!
We do have our cold snaps, goes with this part of the country. Didn't use to bother me too much, but now @ 67, I can do without it. On a positive note, I do have a good heater out in the shop. Harry
Red Green "there is nothing more pathetic than a man without a garage" Entering stinking cold on thermo meter
Weather channel says nuthin above 10* for the next week here in Maine... as low as -16 at night.... Brrrrrrrr !... Being retired never feels as good as it does not having to fight with mother nature at 6; am every morning...
Nasty cold last night... The pic is from inside the house, with 9;AM's temp scratched into the ice on the inside of the window, top edges of the ice scraped off so I could see the birds hit the feeder... .
Cold enough for everyone? Stuck hanging around in the house because of the cold? Might be a good time to add to your rattle can marble collection or start one if you don't already have one.
-16 last night... you know it is cold when you can take 2 steps out onto the ice covered porch landing in your stocking feet, drop a cup of seeds in the feeder, come back in an not have your socks get wet...
-16 F last night in Maine, huh? That is the forecasted "High" today and tomorrow in the northern Red River Valley. -33 overnight, and the wind chill, well you really don't want to know.... Oh well, The garage is heated and there is plenty of work to do on the '32 Plymouth.
Looks like we got it lucky this winter. Last winter was nasty. Not so bad this year. Woke up this morning and ALL the snow was gone! Worked outside all day long. Was 55 degrees at our house. Dave
