    Hey ya'll...haven't posted much lately as Im busy training my replacement cuz Im retiring next Friday...hopefully I can spend a little more time then early morning drawing while wife sleeps in. Been playing around with an airbrush to help blend and fade my inks. Still pretty raw, but Im learning more every day.     A Christmas Gift
    A good friend of mine (Dan) is in the hospital, in Indianapolis, recovering from a double lung transplant. He's coming along well and getting stronger everyday. As a 'cheer me up', I made him an illustration of his '64 Falcon Sprint and included a background of his life trip from Clairton, PA to Avon, IN. Also shown is an antique post card of his old high school. Dan has had this car for over thirty years and has it is in top condition now. I talked to him on the phone yesterday and he's assured me that it 'made his Christmas'. I'm hoping that he returns to top condition soon. Don't smoke guys. It worries your friends.

    My son and daughter in law made this for me for Christmas. It's a headlight bucket from one of my old projects, 36 Dodge. I thought it was pretty neat. I like the way the light shines through the rust holes, er, patina.
