I started a few months ago on my 57 Chevy Gasser project. If anyone has seen Dave's Orange Krate 55, that is what inspired my build. I met Dave in Bowling Green in 14, super guy, his son Al will be doing my cage and some things I'm not comfortable doing. 3. Very clean looking build, Dave's orange crate is a damn nice looking car, yours should turn out great too.

This is the mockup block, the real stuff is at machine shop. I'll be running this Bowers magnesium blower with Enderle injection, backed by the Lenco ST1200[IMG][IMG][IMG]

The tilt mechanism is interesting..if I am correct the nose slides forward and then tilts...the tilt frame brackets are they home made .??

If all goes according to plan, then yes, front will slide forward and then tilt. Yes, I made the "pillow blocks" as I didn't want to run them on side of frame rail

    Looks great!!!
How did you keep the car from getting out of shape without any bracing inside the body?

Thank you, I had it all braced until it was essentially a unibody

  26. Beautiful car, I can't wait to see the finished product. Is it going be redone with that beautiful blue?
What are the specs on the engine you are installing. The reason I ask, is one of my buddies did a 392 with a scat crank and made a 426. It is an awesome engine.

Thank you! Going candy Brandywine I think. Not sure on direction of engine yet. I'm having it done at Ed Pink Racing
