I think the hot rodders are slowly dying off and your going to see less and less cars at these events. Pair that with the older we get the less we want to set outside in the heat all day like we did when we were younger. Great pictures, Thanks.

 

Hope to run into you one of these days, rodster. I'm in Cave City. Saw your old 49 at the Hot Rod Reunion a few years back and it blew me away. Incredible work.

 

Looks as if attendance was really down. Thanks for posting pictures. I'll bet the 1st Kentucky Nationals will have less attendees.

Nice job on the pics and subject matter. I attended last year and I didn’t see many of the cars you photographed this year there.
FWIW I’ve been told by more than one GG ‘s official they measure the success of an event by spectator admissions, not show car registration.

We were there in 2015 as part of the HOF tour and just guessing, looks like more cars this year than in 2015. Anyway rodster thanks for the pics and taking the time to post. No doubt about it the winds of change are a blowing! P.S. my lawyer will be in touch!

 

I plan to install the motor and trans this weekend, and begin wiring.

 

GG in bowling green. Going up against college football in the south . Tough competition.
Let me say something about the old rod-ster here . I though i was a road warrior. He has me beat. I've seen him in buckshot in pouring rain, I mean HEAVY RAIN, VERY cold and 100 degree heat. He drives the snot out of the little booger. I've seen him at shows fresh out of the hospital from a encounter with snake. Beside that he has a pretty dang good sense of humor. And takes pretty good pics also. You DA man!!!!
