Hot Rods The NEW Moon Disc - Wheel Cover Pic Thread!

These were some oldies that I ran on my "A" roadster. My understanding from the fellow I bought them from they had "Salt" time. Sure looked the part even if they didn't see B'ville.

 

I was never a fan of aluminum disc covers ... but over the past few years, I have seen some cars and trucks that flat-look-good with them.
This is my favorite ....

Hey, Danny. You are a veteran of many cars and experience. I'd like to ask you about snap-on moon discs. I don't want to weld on my precious steelies, so snap-on discs seem to be what I need. I won't be racing or exceeding 80 mph on the highway, so tell me what YOU think, please. My ride is a red Deuce roadster like half of the roadsters I see at Austin. Thanks for your input. Gary, to my knowledge Moon doesn't make snap-on caps, any of the ones I've ever seen (non Moon) that have the scalloped snap-on ring built into the cap just look like something you'd get from Pep Boys and the like, they just don't look anything like a real Moon cap.
In the early 80's I had an OT with real Moons pop riveted onto rally wheel style trim rings and I thought they looked pretty good.
