    The trailer below I believe is the same trailer my Dad owned with his front engine dragster. Could possibly even be the same car, just stretched at a later date and the extra hoop added to the cage. The car below was named The Shadow If I am not mistaken.

  6. Not a drag car, but this one was made by a good friend of mine from an old school bus frame that he heated and bent in his back yard. He said this is the way they used to do it when he was a kid (early 50's) up in Chicago.

    anybody got anymore single axle trailer pics ? i need one for anglia project -prefer one with a real low bed maybe some kind of bolt on axle-"torsion " set -up that bolts to side of trailer frame ? and adjustable hitch height ? had a similiar one yrs ago -cant find who i sold it to ???

    The early/mid 60's Ramblers had a bolt on spindle, friend of mine used them on his race car trailers. These were a four wheel, non suspension trailer, the spindles bolted to mounts on the trailer frames' side rails. These were very low trailers and were easy to load a car by hand. These spindles have probably gotten hard to find though.
