Technical 300 ci ford

    can anyone tell me how long a 250 -300 ci inline 6 cyl. is ? from the fan to the back where the bell housing bolts on. thanks......I've been looking and looking

    I just went and measured the one in my 90 f150 36 and half is extremely close. Little hard to get exactly with it in but that's very close.

    thanks guys.....couldn't find it on line or even find one on the street.....I want to put one in my 27 roadster pick up .....always looking for something different

    joee, just wanted to point out that the Ford 250" and the 300" are different engine lines: 144-170-200-250, Falcons, Mustangs, Mavericks, etc., vs. 240-300, Ford 1/2 ton trucks. Nothing interchanges between them. Unless you're looking at a later 250", the 240-300 will give you better transmission choices. K6
