Hi, my name is Vanessa, and I am from Wichita, KS. I recently purchased a 62' Chevy II. Loved Novas since I was a little girl. My Uncle T.G had one and always loved the way the body looked. When he died I had the opportunity to buy it, but unfortunately didn't have the money. I searched for two years before I found one that didn't need a whole lot of work that I liked. I have had so much fun driving it! Don't know much about working on cars except for the basics, but I am having fun learning. Now I would like to start meeting new people that have the same love for cars.

Hi. Wichita teems with old car people and there are surely a bunch of car clubs there. I just attended a Vintage Chevrolet - VCCA national Southern fall Tour here in Texas and there were several cars from Kansas on the Tour. There are lots of folks in Wichita and surrounding area that belong to the larger vintage car associations - VCCA, AACA, and there should be some non affiliated car clubs there also. Bunch on the HAMP from around there also. Do a GOOGLE search for car clubs in Wichita and you should get some good contacts. My memory is failing me on this but is that HUGE KKOA car show & cruise in Wichita. Either there or Salina each year. That one fills up the entire KOA and more each year. My 46 Chevy Coupe came out of Quinter Kansas in 2013. Jimmie
