Skratch's coupe. "Next, he found a ’34 Ford Tudor sedan roof that a tree had fallen on. “I had to totally repair the damage before I even started to chop, narrow, and shorten to fit the roof to the Model A.” The roof was attached to the A body right at the beltline, and while the windshield width proved very similar, the ’34 roof tapered out to nearly a foot wider than the A at the rear. Nightmare. What’s more, Skratch shortened the top halves of some ’34 doors by 8 inches and extended the Model A doors 10 inches to come up with custom doors that were proportional to the new look and that also fit the new roofline. He tells us he’s got about 100 hours in each door. He then chopped, fitted, and welded the roof in place three complete times before he was satisfied with the overall silhouette of the car." http://www.hotrod.com/articles/hrds-0733-1930-model-a-cad-rod/
