Finally had back window taken out, body shop told me to come look at and I was floored..Somebody put some putty B.S. and I thought it was over but he said that is not bad as you think...He gave me a price of $ 1000.00 of removal and replacement of rear windshield to put new metal on both side of the roof near back. getting ready to weld it up
Sounds like a fair price to me. Have fixed worse. Bought a 67 elcamino once and drove it home and half way home the rear glass blew out and happened to land on the spare tire that was in the bed and did not break. It had been repaired with drywall tape and bondo.
Good thinking. A customer bought me a shrinker , stretcher one time for a tip. Think of him every time I use it.
