For those of you that have been using the Harbor Fright HVLP guns, is this the one your using? http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/itemdisplay/displayItem.do?itemid=43430&CategoryName=&SubCategoryName=
that might be the one sitting in my garage, my brother bought it and hasn't used it yet. it's anodized purple if that helps. it looks like a nice piece.
got one of those......not a very precise gun but ok for primer and stuff. I use my good Devilbiss gun for real paint.
Go to http://purplesagetradingpost.com/sumner/techinfo/HVLPspraygun.html for information on the Habor Freight gun. Sometimes they change their part numbers a little but it is probably the same item. I have many expensive guns and I use my Harbor Freight most. John http://purplesagetradingpost.com/sumner/hooley/hooley-2005.html
i took a quick glance at a HF flyer that came to work today...i think i threw it away....on the cover i really think it had the purple one for 9.99......yes, 9.99! i was busy and quickly glanced to see which tip it came with......didn't say, if i recall.......i just remember thinking i could buy it and the other tip for right at $20.......you might check to see....
The one that is on sale really cheap right now is not an HVLP. The ad says something about it being for oil based paints. The one everybody seems to like is #43430. It usually goes for $40-$50. I can remember the number because I am waiting for a good sale (+20% coupon ). Slonaker
