Outriders 36th picnic Sept. 17, 2017 Oak Canyon Park Irvine, CA Grab a seat & enjoy the view! Have an eyeful of some bitchin' wheels that were present at the annual Outriders picnic in Orange County, CA at the aforementioned venue listed in the title. Private event is only accessible if you know an Outrider club member or someone who does that you can get one of the limited amount of tickets available for this annual late summer gathering. It's arguably one of the best in the west as far as organized hot rod enthusiast events go (just ask someone who's attended one). Everyone in attendance is treated well with a secluded venue, live music, drinks, BBQ, an awesome raffle, lots of cool cars & fellow enthusiasts to share the day with. It's been goin' down for several decades, with this year's event dedicated to long time Outrider Hardy Allen (1932-2017), a great human being & fellow enthusiast who ran with A.J. Foyt's crew in Gasoline Alley years ago and passed away earlier this year (he'll be sorely missed by his fellow members). If you get a chance to attend, do so; Next year will be at the same place, have the same program (live music, tri-tip BBQ lunch, cool cars & raffle) & be held around the same time (last weekend of summer in Sept.).
