I'm trying to find a color close to this if anybody could please be any help I'm having a hard time thank you so much
Green but not a pastel green. The lowrider Bomb brigade is hell on wheels on "original" meaning every piece of chrome that was ever offered for the model in question and quite often the factory original paint color http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/chipdisplay.cgi?year=1939&manuf=GM&smodel=Cadillac Hell for nice little black dress on a hot redhead though. Found the article on the coupe but they don't give the exact shade of green. http://www.lowrider.com/rides/cars/1308-1939-chevrolet-business-coupe/
this may be close its a factory color but I'm not sure what year, maybe someone can tell you what year the car is
When I think pastels I think Easter egg colors. That color is most likely the old standard Brewster green. They had a light and dark variation. I think this pic shows both on the body. Wheels are most likely apple green.
I've got a paint color card from 1940 chevy. I'll see if there's anything close. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
It could be a original color. Many of those old bombs are Painted in thw original color. I've seen a green called Transport Green that looks similar. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Traverse green is very similar and was used on 1940 chevys. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I'm thinking the same thing. It has to be an original 39 chevy color. O.P. if you have the magazine why dont you try and look up the owner of the car. Years ago I had a magazine that had a car I really liked. I googled the guys name that owned the car and was able to talk to him about the car.
the VW colors look good check out this page has a lot of cool vintage gm colors http://www.tdpri.com/threads/fender-pre-cbs-custom-colors-project.153994/
Take it to a competent paint supplier and have him mix a batch for you. Unless of course you are going to paint the whole car again and you want an original color.
Had a customer want an olive type green for a scooter. Told him to go to Home Depot and pick out a chip of the color he wanted. Mailed it to Tammy at Tamco paints and shes whipping us up a quart of base. Pretty simple
