I believe it is. and carrier made window units in the fifty's but that one looks newer.

My fathers 38 Chevy

 

My mother wanted a better car, so my father came home with a 38 Olds.......boy was she thrilled.

 

My uncle was an Olds man

 

Another uncle from CA who was a money lender on the docks in Long Beach preferred Caddys.

 

In '57, my aunt came from CA with my 3 cousins, and treated me to a top down ride.

 

In '56 we visited the showroom of Leader Chevrolet in West Springfield, MA. Unfortunately, the car did not come home with us.

 

In '59, we got a '56 Chevy wagon and had a 2 week vacation in Canada. While at the campground, I got to ride in a '56 Chrysler New Yorker a next door camping family had, and talked to another camper that just restored a '34 Ford roadster.

 

On another Canadian trip, we visited Montreal.

 

My first car, a 292 at powered '57 Ford. As soon as I gathered all the parts, I converted it to 3 speed stick. I had a choice of 456 gears or a Hurst shifter for $20. All I could afford was 20, so the shifter was more important then.

 

I can't see any of Gary's photos, either...I used to be able to, but started seeing red X's about a week ago.
