I was a bit surprised by the number of Falcons. Need some more Comets! Thats the plan for me and my 64 next year. Uncle Sam's Pie Crust or Bust!

Comets are cool. There were some there but you're right, there should be more of them!

Falcon vs. Comet... would you call that a "family feud"??

Just what everyone else has already said. My first time at the Meltdown, 2200 mile round trip, and had a blast. Got 6 runs, with six wins. Met some really great folks, and looking forward to seeing them again. Thanks to the Meltdown and the track crews, job well done!

My nephew was with us this year for his first time. . I told him " your gonna get hooked". Sure as shit. He has already bought a 65 comet and a 351w builder as of tonight. It's game on for him. He said except for seeing his son being born , it's the coolest most exciting thing he has ever seen. And he has my falcon as a cheat sheet. Hopefully won't take him too long to get it ready. I'm excited. 65 comets are bitchin

Here is our run from Sat night against Chris Roge and his neat Bantam Altered

  20. Jackson - the photographer who made that shot was Leo - he rode in from California with Rocky. Super cool dude.

Oh wow AJ I didn't know I briefly spoke with him While chatting with rocky in the pits but had no idea I've been a fan of his as he has always taken good shots of the evil twin and even Carl's flathead digger that runs with rocky at eagle field

oh AJ where is your awesome wheelie shot from meltdown 2017 oh that's right your car can't do that lmao too much whale fat I'm sure covered up by some scaredy pants lmao

Yeah sure did I seen you were taking a Jeff nap at the light and then my car blew both head gaskets but you better watch out next June at the pie eating contest that is if you aren't so scared to show up lmao

  26. yeah BentWrencher you treed me pretty good on that run... but lol... I passed you before the 60' mark!

After that run, I finally understood why you chose the right lane:

Looking forward to racing you at the Pie Eating Contest... I will have time to rest up by then so I won't need to nap in my car!

Speaking of wheelie kings how about Dave Tanners Blue Coupe. Anyone got a shot of his mammoth stands? You know they made him sign a contract he would not run too fast...then he promptly turned around and gave officials something completely different to worry about...lol

Dave is a class act and stayed true to his word on running slower than 10.0 I believe he said. He drove through 2 wheelstands I saw and was as professional as it gets. I asked him about it Saturday night and he laughed about it. I hope someone did get a video.
