Hot Rods rear end id

id..... anyone know this independent rear it looks like a jag ?, it has 3'' k.o's but adapted to bolt on. this is a 2pc alum housing and has inboard mechanical brakes........this was mounted in an early offy midget

 

Pak-Age-Kar, or something like that, '30s era by the remains of Stutz, maybe ...

 

I don't know but it's cool as hell!

 

Looks interesting to me, I see a Model A Ford spring perch in the mix. Were is the rest of the car? Bob

That center section with mechanical brakes looks a bit like a airport tugger I pulled the engine out of for an old ford n2 tractor ,but it sure was narrow, sorry don't remember the name on tugger.

 

Definitely a DeDion style suspension design, but I have no clue what it's origin might have been. Very neat layout though!

That had to come of a real good car chrome plated and all. Can you add Race Car to the thread title, it may attract more people with knowledge on these things. Bob
