Did you ever hear Perlman teamed with Doug Kershaw? That guy plays some mean bayou fiddle!There is also a great album called,"Lone Wolf" that John Kay did solo;some really great blues stuff.

The past couple days I've been listening to a CD a friend sent me;don't know the name of it(might be a bootleg)but it's Jimmy Buffett circa 1972 recorded at the Record Plant in Sausalito with Jerry Jeff Walker and the Lost Gonzo Band.They never stopped rolling the tape between songs and it is wild.

Also have some Mary Gauthier(Mercy Now) and Laura Cantrell in the box.What a combination;an ex-junkie New Orleans blues singer and a C&W disc jockey whose show is in New York City!

Richard Shindell(a great and highly underrated folk singer)and Amos Lee(who sounds like a young Otis Redding) round out the 5 CD changer.
