I bought a '48 Ford Tudor Super Delux that someone swapped an early 60s 327 into. 16195951_10208051253334781_4331047853677583489_n by Thrift-King posted Jul 7, 2017 at 12:13 PM It has weird heads on it though, and through all my research have not been able to determine what they are exactly. Here is a photo of the casting marks: IMG_3159 by Thrift-King posted Jul 7, 2017 at 12:13 PM I won't be near the car to pull the valve cover and check the casting number until tomorrow. I'm hoping one of the sages on this site can pinpoint what they are based on the casting. Thanks!
Mmmm. Been a long time but "single mountain"........ Either 60s power pack or......60s regular head.....I think.
Hard to tell from the photo, but is the top hole ( closest to the intake) a 7/16-14 thread? There were some early truck/industrial heads that had threaded bosses, two are 3/8-16 and the upper one will be 7/16-14. Big chamber, low compression and small valves.
This page has a chart that might help... Looks like the letter "N" http://garage.grumpysperformance.co...i-just-picked-up-fuelie-heads-for-cheap.2099/
