Technical Zerk fittings on my windshield stanchions??

    Anyone know what these are for? Bought some '27 roadster windshield stanchions from Speedway and they came with these. They're threaded and screw into the posts. They look like zerk fittings except there's no hole in the center. 4 on each post. Anyone know???

    I bin waitin' 60 + years for an explaination on these ungreasable fittings.........

    (in reality ........... your side curtains are gunna fall off if ya havnt got em )

    Side curtains............makes perfect sense! No side curtains for me. Topless all the way!

    They are called lift the dot fasteners, and yes they would be for side curtains and or convertible top.
