PLEASE help us find our old drag car (model A)

That thing's tough as nails. Here's hoping you find it.

 

Which motor was in it when it was sold? I see one mentioned but two in the photos.

Also the tube frame isn't at all uncommon. Hell @cactus1 has a tube frame roadster built in the late 50's and I seem to recall another roadster being found from the era with a tube frame as well in the last few years.

Uncommon absolutely but it's not like it didn't happen here and there

Tube frames are where it's at! That thing is cool. Best of luck finding or recreating it!!

Did you check with mushroom farmers in the area? If it was a family and they're still growing mushrooms, maybe somebody remembers something, or can send you in a direction?
