Always loved this car, and the original pictures are a great addition to the history.
Just a question: i see the car is very low on the og pics ??
Was it channeled? or was a early hydroed ride? kool eitherway.

I nearly dropped my camera when I saw this car at the LA Roadster Show this year. I took a bunch of photos of it. I spoke with the current owner a couple time at the show. He really wanted me to make him an offer, I smiled and told him how much was in my pocket, and he laughed and asked "cash?", I said "yeah cash", he said "well that's an offer".

Greg those build shot are great! Sorry to hear it isn't feasible to get it back in the family. I'd like to second the question about the suspension setup. Looks like those front seats started out as "square-bird" seats eh?

John yeah, for sure especially after how much the owner was telling me he was hoping to get.

Does anyone know who the new owner is?

  10. ....Barrett-Jackson might be willing to tell who purchased the car. I'm sure they must have a website, maybe a 1-800 number you could call. Good luck.:)

Yeah. Thanks for bringing up the thread. I had missed it before. This history stuff is good reading. The original wheels look like they have dog-dish caps. I'm sure they could be adapted to fit over the dumb smoothie caps (for hardly any cost). More pictures please.

23k for that beauty, damn that's a steal. Most of the "show cars" nowadays spend that on the paint job!
