I haven't been on here for a while. Health, retirement and other things get in the way at times. I have recently been hand crafting some large models. The latest is a '28 Model A RPU 'barn find' This is about 1.4 metres long. I needed a motor for it so I made this flathead. 21 Stud, Supercharged. All constructed out of MDF sheeting. Still a fair way to go until it is all finished. The car still needs interior, steering, dash, gearbox and driveshaft. Just something that I thought may interest some of you. Also, here's another earlier build. This is 500 hours and nearly 1000 pieces. Just on 2 metres long.
Nice to see you dropping in, haven't seen you here for some time. Looks like your keeping busy. I'd seen your truck and racer, but not your Model A RPU. Your doing a fine job, love the supercharged flat motor.
Very nice. Next step up is a working 1/3 scale engine!! http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/enginerun.htm
I take it that the 21 stud motor is using an 8-BA cam(or braun-nose adapter), front cover & distributer?
Very clever guy. Couldn't really see it too well at the Beach hop as there was a stall over the shop window. Didn't get back there when it was clear. But get to appreciate your work on here ,thanks.
The stalls was always going to be a problem. If you are in this area again get in touch and I will show you around the stuff in the garage.
