Thank you, I hope to be ready for spring.

 

Got the Rearend back, and did a mock up tonight, starting to look like something, and now i can finish up my suspension.

 

Had to see what it would look like with the wheels bolted up, and make sure i got the wheels spaced out correctly.

 

And a side view. i like it!

I'm getting ready to run the brake lines on mine. I'm thinking of running them through some fuel line and through the boxed frame. I'll send pics soon.

 

please do. Do you have a build on here?

 

I'm sure there are some pics of the frame in one stage or another on here somewhere but I'm not sure of a "Build". The project has been delayed so many times from health, moves, other projects and builds. I've got a Dodge Panel build on here as that's in the works too.

 

Re-Engineered the ladder Bars, they are now fully adjustable. Very happy with the results.

 

Did you build the ladder bars? What size tubes and Heim joints?

 

1 1/4 OD tube, with 5/8 or 3/4 heim joints, cant remember i purchased the Heims so long ago lol And yes me and a friend built them.

 

I used 1"X 2" rectangular tube and made mine real long. They seem pretty heavy though. I'm thinking of redoing them.

 

Mine weigh about 13 pounds, thats without heim joints installed

 

I bet mine weigh a lot more. Of course they are probably a lot longer too but...I'll have to hang mine on a scale.

 

MIne are fairly long, 52 inches heim to heim i believe

 

They came out nice.

 

Got the new ladder bars finished and mounted in the car. Pictures are looking repetative, but i assure you there is progress lol

 

front mounts final welded.

 

Made a trans mount today. I was trying to avoid running ANOTHER cross member, so decided to make something that can be bolted to the existing one. And with it being removable , it wont get in the way of pulling the trans. I still need to do a little finessing to it, but you get the idea. I have it slid over so I could take a photo of it.

 

Got the bump stops in, so that the fenders wont bottom out on the tires

 

AND....finally have the rear end in the car, just needs shocks. I know where they are going just waiting on them. Oh, and yes, the panhard bar is NOT level at the moment, car is not at ride height though. =)

What spring rate did you decide on? Also what kind of gap are you leaving for the bump stops and the quarters?

i have looked and looked and cant find a 110- or 115 spring rate, so i had to go with 125 which was the lightest i could find. as for my gap, i only left 3/8 gap when the bump stops hit.

 

Got some stuff done today. Started with the wheelie bars. Got the straps drilled and mounted. Fortunately I didnt have to try and arch them, i bought some pre arched and cut to width straps from Stott's Speed Shop

 

Still waiting on Clevises, and i need to add the anchor for the wheel bracket, but other than that , the Wheelie bars are almost done
