I would say it's a 54 reason: they were built from 46-65 , the 46-49 had a flat grill ,50-53 had a v'd grill with 5 horizontal grill bars, in 54 they went with 3 horizontal grill bars and that went pretty much till the end but the F6-161 Hurricane engine was only available from 52-54 so all of that said and by looking over your pics the Jeep has the v'd grill and 3 horizontal grill bars and then it appears to have the flat head 6, F6-161 Hurricane, I come up with your Jeep Pu Water Well Drilling Rig to be a 1954 as far as the drill attachment goes can't tell ya on that other than its really cool......

After looking a little closer at the attachment is it a drill or a pile driver, or wood splitter?

This sat for 30 years, everyone had asked about it, not for sale. They finally junked it. But the yard set it aside, someone bought it, heard it's being restored.

  10. I never notice that. There were a lot of derby cars there. I've found Edsel s in three different locations in a short amount of time. Also Studebaker trucks too. Funny how that happens. Another old wagon. A 62? 027.jpg

    Ron,

What is the story with that 57 Premiere? Do you know the owner?

  14. If you PM me your phone number. I will be glad to go back , and pass it on to him. I like seeing this stuff saved. For me the fun is in the hunt. Ron...

I tried buying this a few years ago, would be a sweet one to put on a 1/2 ton chassis, cab is rock solid. 9,000 miles!
Still sitting, but the guy is loosening up lately to the idea of selling stuff.

A 4 door 36 Oldsmobile is way more cool than a 2 door mustang. It would be a very cool family hot rod or daily driver. Ditch the wifes minivan.

  22. Actually I'd like a 57 with a 56 front but I'd take a 58-60 over that.

  25. After looking at an 51 Chevy from CL. The owner showed me this 37 Chevy coupe. It's a real barn find. It is backed in this shed, with only a few inches of room on either side. A nice guy, who trusted showing it to me. I thanked him. And I told him I would't tell anyone were it is. I also told him that it would be almost impossible to get it out. lol I had to crawl over a lot of junk just to get a photo of it. He said, that it is not for sale. So I thanked him for sharing it. 26. Nice find!! He sounds like the kind of person you'd like to help get it going when he's ready.

Went out for an adventure with my daughter and nephew today and saw something through the trees and vines ... old Fordor Sedan in its natural habitat
