I am swapping a saginaw out for a T5 1993 vintage. It has the Ford bell housing layout. Is there an adapter for this?
There is a member on here named INLINE that makes T-5 Adapters for several applications. He advertises in the "Parts for Sale" forum on here. Check him out, very good guy to deal with. I bought an adapter from him, good price and received it in about 10 days.
Try Modern Driveline Inc Tel 208 453 9800. There are 2 different input shaft lengths on the Ford T5 trans. The 4 cyl trans is about 3/16 of an inch longer and requires a spacer, available from Modern
Thanks fellas. It is a GM S-10 T5, in 93 they went world class with ford housing and bolt pattern... hoping I can use it.
hello, do these have a 26 splined input at 1 1/8 inch girth are the inputs the common 9 1/4 length do the splines happen to be in the same place as say a t5 v8 Camaro / v8 mustang oh and what is the pilot bearing bore for it or in other words....... could I get one of these, then using a fox bell and a 302 simply buy a 10.4'' Camaro clutch friction disc and bolt it all together. thanks does the input look like this -the tvr version with the 9 1/4 input 26 spline and 1 1/8 girth p.s. if you end up buying a chevy wc case and swapping the bits in, that later s10 tail locates the speedo drive 2 inches forwards bugger http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-S10-21-t...ash=item3d21b8458f:g:ar0AAOSw3xJXoAUo&vxp=mtr in a word.. no
