hey guys, what radiator are you guys using in your f-100 with a 302/C4? I was told the '67-'79 can be made to fit but I don't have one so I can't check it, lol. I see tons on the auction site but wanted to check here first.

It sure is. Which is why I bought a new factory style from Walker. As it turned out, all our local radiator shops wanted so damned much to recore my old one, I just kicked in the extra bucks and bought the Walker.
That was 6 years ago, believe me, I haven't regretted it for one second.

I have a late 70's Dodge van radiator in mine. It fits. It cools.

I used a aftermarket 54 with Chev in and outlets,4 row copper, cools like crazy

  14. If I were going to keep the truck on a daily basis I would step up and buy a Walker Radiator, they are copper/brass like the original and you can drive the truck worry free for the next 35 years or more. HRP

A walker is not in my budget and I do not need the radiator to look like it is stock. Was just wondering if anybody got anything off the shelf that worked and fit with little effort. I totally understand the walker though, don't get me wrong. My truck is an old farm truck that I am putting back into service. 302 2bbl, c-4, 9 inch rear. 1953 F-100 fordomatic auto column to work the c-4. Pretty much all else is stock. I have limited funds to get this done, told the wife I could have a runner with x amount and I am drawing closer every day. If the easiest and cheapest is the walker I understand but I think some guys on here have come up with something cheaper that works fine. I know, start the bashing. Lol.

Does Champion radiator make one for the early effies? I bet they do. They'd look a little nicer if painted. I bought one a few years back as insurance. They are a lot less expensive. Check on that auction site. They are pretty much unrepairable though, so I'm told.

I checked with Champion and they do not make one for a small block ford, only small block Chevy.

First gen Mustang is pretty cheap and compact. Outlets will be right.

If it's low buck you want - go on eBay. '66 Mustang radiators start at $98 brand new. I wouldn't trust my money and labor to a junk yard radiator that was much cheaper than that.

I put a 76 f100 radiator in my 56 f100, it works well, I had to use electric fans with it because the 300 i6 sits too low for factory fan
