Event Coverage Detroit Autorama

Who's planning on attending the Detroit Autorama? I have my '41 Ford entered in the basement.

 

I will be helping with a 41 Ford coupe in the basement,

 

My brother & I will be in the basement my Model A and his 37 Ford coupe.

 

Alice and I will be attending all weekend as spectators this year.

 

I'll be there with my T roadster.

I'll be there the whole gig. Showing an O/T yellow 33 upstairs. Was supposed to skirt and Sombrero the Packard for the basement too but info got crossed up. I'm outta that deal.

 

I'll be there one of the best shows every year.

I'll be attending with 4 members of " Memories in Motion" club.

 

Who's had been in the basement before? What can you get away with? Can we bring a cooler, food, drinks? Can you buy bags of ice there? Any suggestions? Moving in Wednesday.

I was over in Portland yacking with some car buddies and the word is that SAR has got something stupid crazy high dollar going to compete for the Riddler.

 

If you ask the answer is no. We bring ice from the hotel in a small chest.

That's the one. I've yet to "warm up" to it but it's coming around.

 

I am doing some door graphics on a pickup tomorrow. Not sure what it is yet but I know it is a 50's truck. He is taking it there after I get done.

I have heard rumors of multi 7 figures? I mean I like spending some coin on my rides but sheeiit! I heard Dan is sewing the innards, he is a talented guy with a sewing machine! He held his tongue but to say the least I am eagerly awaiting some details.

 

Heading to Detroit again this year. Looking forward to the weekend.

 

heading out friday morning. its a great show every year. saturday morning we eat a huge breakfast at petes diner then do the show. we hop on the people mover saturday night for some fun in greek town. its a full weekend of fun. detroit is a cool town.

 

The weather is good this year. Mild temps and no snow. We've even had sun the last few days!

 

I went 5 years in a row, missed the last 2, will definitely make it back, it's the highlight of my year car show wise, always a great time. If you've never been, you need to.
