I know Hop Up Magazine is having a party at Lucky's Hot Rods in Burbank on Thursday night. Usually Old Crow Speed Shop has an open house/party on Friday night but I haven't heard anything for sure for this year.

 

Long Beach Hi Performance Swap Meet on Sunday, about 45 minutes from Pomona

 

I called this morning, SoCal open house is on Father's Day, they did say you're welcome to drop by, but any projects will be at the GNRS and personnel setting up...we'll be at Petersens museum on Thursday as well in the AM, Santa Monica pier in the afternoon...

Bummer! That's always a good time!

 

I'll be doing the Drive-In on Saturday. Unfortunately I fly out of town on Wed morning and am out until late Thurs. Friday will be a catch up day for me, and Sunday I've got a blues jam to host, so it looks like Saturday is my only day to participate. Please post any other Open House's that you hear of. Maybe I can play hooky and get out on Friday.

 

The good news is, it looks like we're going to have some good weather!

Accuweather says 68 on Saturday and 72 on Sunday...Woo Hoo!

We're all loaded...we shove off for Pomona bright and early tomorrow

 

The local news cast is calling for strong Santa Ana winds tomorrow. Be careful if you're in a high sided vehicle. Depending on how strong the winds are even that car on an open trailer could be a hairy ride.
