351C Block. Sonic checked, lifter bores trued & bushed. 30 over. Pro-gram 4 bolt billet caps on center 3. Machined for 1 piece rear main seal. TMeyer cam bearings & oil mods.
Molnar 4" Stroke crank, Molnar 6" rods, CP Carrillo custom Pistons 13.5 comp by Ric Panneton. Romac harmonic balancer & timing chain. Zero balanced. Crane solid roller cam & Morel roller lifters. 4VCC 2.19/1.71 heads with bowl work, flow 326/209. Comp springs & 1.8 Rockers. Screw in studs & guide plates. Weiand tunnel ram. MSD Distributor. Canton pan, pickup & windage tray.
It's just a mock-up block & heads in it now. Had 302 in it before... I like how 351C fills the engine bay now! Looking forward to getting 408 in there & doing some John Force burnouts! LOL...!

Yeah I'm gonna do the same thing Jeff I've got a gravestone picked out for Paul's hairy hauler this year last time we raced the outcome wasn't so good for me or the meltdown for that matter lol but my willys has a new mill and will be much faster this year

I hear you have another Mustang Fastback in the works.

 

Shook hands on a deal for the Shaker yesterday.A good friend of mine will be street driving it and running some vintage events locally next year,but I still get to run the Meltdown with it this year.
The Fastback is going to be a S.E.G. C/G legal car.The hard work is done (floors and quarters),so I will be able to get right down to installing the cage,building the chassis,and swapping the drivetrain and fuel system over.
To meet C/G weight,it needs to be 2944lbs with my current motor.That shouldn't be a problem
