Looking for a few examples of a F1 cross member set up with 48` to 52` Ford clutch and brake pedals in a 30` Model A frame. This is what I will be leaning toward my AV8 project. Thanks.

  2. I'm doing that on my 30 coupe. I have a build thread in here "anti-nowhere coupe" check it out and message me if you have any questions

Hi Richard! There were pics of the way I did mine in a '30 frame in the Tech Archive but I just tried to check and couldn't even find the Archive! Guess it was discontinued??? I made mine a bolt-in with longer brake hoses to the master cylinder to allow it to be lowered out of the way for trans removal. Don't have any pics currently but could slide under and take some. Regards, Dave.

Thank you. Only if you have time. Don`t put yourself out if its going to be inconvenient, I can wait a few weeks when its warmer.

Hey, no sweat as it is in my shop. Besides, it will be nice to do something "hotrod" after a day of cleaning up the front yard after our last storm! Regards, Dave.

This is still a mock-up stage project as you will notice missing pieces (like the link from the master cylinder pushrod to the brake pedal arm!).

Like I mentioned Richard, it's a bolt-in, plus the mounts to the frame which remain in after the crossmember is dropped down are also bolted in. I can provide fabrication details and any further pics if you like. Regards, Dave.

  9. How did this design work out for you? Did you like it? If you did, are those fabrication details still available? I like what you did.
