Are there places that sell covers for my seats? Not Mexican blanket style but a tuck and roll style or something around those lines.

Following your post with interest...back in 1968 I bought a 50 Desoto for $50.00...mechanic's special....restored car...but left the flat 6 and fluid drive in it after rebuilding them..great driving and riding car..I worked as a mechanic, and theses 'specials' would pop up...good start on yours..good luck to you...

The door stainless pops off , use a taping knife at least 2 inches wide and gently pry it up as you move along , same for all of them from the doors back....

  7. Theres a shot in my album of what i did on my 52 manifold to help with room. even the A body comes close to the box so I just cut and moved to the rear it worked great.

  8. I have a 318 in my '50 Dodge. Looks like the same body. Inner fender had to be bashed in to clear the exhaust manifold. 1019161427.jpg
