I haven't taken it apart yet, but does anyone know what distributor this is? I assume MSD by the red cap and it's somewhat modern look, but not sure. Tuning the motor tomorrow and will dig in, but not sure if I need a new cap and rotor or where I'd get it it's not generic Austin Parts store stock.

Just order a cap and rotor for a 1975 camaro 350 . The coil is under that smaller cap on top. Don't mix up the wires or forget the grounding strap. You can damage the module inside or the coil. One of the best factory electronic ignition ever made. Easily recurvable for performance up to 6500 rpms stock even higher with a msd module and coil. Known as the GM HEI

Keep an extra rotor in the glove box. When you engine won't start or quits someday take the screwdriver you keep with the rotor and change it. There will be a hole in the center of it.
