Am I wrong or right but wasn't the Specific Hemi Headliner cardboard material? Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Thanks for posting. Hope you will be turning the slicks regularly when finished. Stuff like this makes the HAMB as interesting as it is. Looks "traditional hot rod" to me. Top shelf effort.
Great project! Perfect color - those boys were out of Roseville MI - so its a no-brainer color choice.
Great car. I was diggin the body, then you posted the engine. Awesome. I love that body style. Just tough.
in the last group of pics posted the seventh pic down it looks like there is a tarp or something else covering the front end. the bumper and grille have something on them. I have seen a lot of pics over the years of this car but never one with some kind of cover on it. any other pics of the car like this out there?
I have been through a bunch and I never saw anymore with anything like that either. Maybe the new owners will pop in and let us know. There are a few Chevy IIs with some type of airdams in the grille area back in the chevy batch.
Great car. Thanks for posting. Was the Shadowoods Car one of the originals from Chrysler? I feel like it was originally raced by another racer, then the Tagnanelli's purchased and re-painted it. I could be wrong. I have been a fan of this car for years. I never saw it with the 12 spoke American Wheels. Love it!! Keep us posted on progress and et's!!
The piece on the front of the car was there for aerodynamics. It is still with the car but I am not restoring it with it on Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
That is truly a thing of beauty!! A big round of frosty beverages to you for bringing this back to life. Thanks again for sharing it with us. Bobby
GREAT workmanship, fantastic quality! I remember this car from the 60's, very nice restoration. I'm sure I'll catch Hell for this, but "A/FX" it is not! Not even close! It's "C/XS", C/ Experimental Stock", that was the NHRA class it ran, says right on it in all the old pictures! Put the right class on it, again, GREAT WORK, but get that last detail down!
