It looks like you can just cut the bad out and put in fresh metal.
    I did on mine. [IMG][IMG]

Here are a few pics not very good ones, but maybe they will be of help actually now that I look at them, I had run the rectangular tubing all the way from the cowl to the back, and used the same tubing for cross members. some of these pictures are of other areas of the car but you can kind of see what I did.

One thing to remember and NOT skip over is the relocation of the holes. Be sure to transfer the holes to the pieces you make. They are there for a reason!

That is IF you intend to make everything original. If not, have at it

ok guys! the front is pretty much same as the rear, but i will try to patch or rebuild the missing sections.
i appreciate the photos, they gave me a very good idea to start the restoration of the subframe, thanks jackalope and Visionary pinstriping.
My metalwork skills are... poor (for say something) but i have my spirit up to the sky!! thanks all for answer, really encouraged me.

I will keep posting about my project.

    Diego,

Just take your time with everything and ask as many questions as you want. If you don't feel comfortable asking publicly, send me a private message by "Starting a Conversation". I don't know much about building cars and hot rods in general but the fabrication side of things and general metal working stuff I am more than comfortable sharing what I know.
