Thinking out loud, I've got most of the parts, I know it's a personal decision but chime in with your thoughts. Thommo. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
It would/will look great either way. Hi-boys probably out number fendered roadsters by 2:1. Try it and see if you like it.
How you use it help to determine fenders or not.Weather in your area? long distance trips? Etc Nice looking either way
I take the chance, don't run cycle fenders, never had a problem with the police. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Weather is reasonable here, southeast corner of Australia, not to many long trips, hard to leave town with 4 kids. I suppose I'm looking for a change of scenery with the car. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
On unchanneled cars, bobbed stockers on the back and cycle fenders on the front is a cool look. Full fendered is good too.
I think I'm trying to talk myself into it. Damn hot rods, we can never leave anything alone!! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I like the fenders, don't see to many 32's with full fenders any more. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I know no self-respecting HAMBer would even consider this in this modern age of enlightenment, but it looks pretty good to me...
Having fenders will change your life and I wonder if you are prepared for it. An example would be not being the last in line as your group goes to a run. That means guys will no longer have to swerve to avoid the rooster tails from you going through puddles. Likewise no longer will you have funny spots on your face because you turned going through a puddle. When friends drop by where you parked they have to bring chairs because they can't sit on the 4 rubber covered ones they used to. You will have to figure out what to do with the extra time you have because you don't have to take glass cleaner and a rag to wash off the "roadster " marks off the car. You will miss the pure pleasure of small rocks and pebbles bouncing of your cranium or watching a rear view mirror suddenly changing from a perfectly good mirror to a single color mosaic scene in an instant. So, if these are things you can life without , then by all means go ahead. Just one precaution I would recommend is put some kind of thin pad on the under side of the fenders or you may wonder why the fenders have sheet metal acne on them. Give it thought brother, give it though!
I think seeing fenders on a roadster is a rare site, so be different and put them on your car. I know I like fenders.
Unfortunately not mine, but I was impressed with this one at the last car show because it had full fenders. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
So a live update, I have the engine out doing a clutch at the moment, thought I throw a running board on, remembering they're ASC rails which I drilled when I built the car to resemble stock rails. I went of the readily available hole diagram. Well everything lined up, amazing! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
You Gotter throw em on, just to satisfy your curiosity. If you don't like em, you can always remove them.
No, no, no, Perfect car just as it is. Nothing says 'hot rod' quite like a hi boy '32 roadster........
Anyone seen somebody use the swoopy Indian style fenders ... just spit balling . Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Well I used to be in with no fender crowd. But I decided that I like them either way. Beautiful roadster.
