Art & Inspiration So, what's your favorite FACTORY 2 tone color combo?

So, I've been thinking of future projects the last few days even though I have no business starting one. Just for fun what's your favorite FACTORY color combos or interior colors?

Feel free to post pics of any make or model, inside or out as long as it's stock from the original manufacturer.

Here's a couple I stole off the web to get started.

    Thanks in advance.

    Coral/gray '55 is awesome .

I like a lot of the mid '50s GM colors and schemes. They really had it going on.

    And of course, Christine.

It's hard to admit, as a heterosexual man, that I have a soft spot for pink cars, but . . . there. I admitted it. I love that pink and grey Chevy in the first post in this thread. Most of all, I love the 1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk, in two-tone "Mocha and Doeskin" paint: two-tone pink. (Decidely brownish pinks, both of them)

I've even thought of repainting my own Studebaker in those colors, which would leave it looking something like this:

I was hoping you'd see this thread HEAP.
Man I really like your car, curious though, there is another yellow in the 57 lineup called Calypso Cream but as far as I have found the Colonial Yellow was the only yellow that was available as a two tone, at least with the white top.
You may remember a previous post where I talked about a lady in my area that had an original painted light yellow and white 57 2dr ht, this was around 1971, so it may have faded somewhat.
This was the car that inspired me to paint my car these colors but somehow when the paint was mixed they made it more "green" than it should have been. A friend of mine painted it in 1972 and he used some of the white left over from the top to tone it down, but it was still too bright.

I have "ALWAYS" loved this color combo!....just tricks my trigger in every way! Correct colors for 1956 Oldsmobile 98....matching interior makes it stand out for me in the best of ways! 1956-oldsmobile-98-convertible-high-optioned-well-restored-correct-colors-9.jpg

  23. IMG_5599.JPG Not a factory paint combos for a 56 Chevy but I think it was offered on some other GM's in the 50's. Either way it's my favorite.

The reason I never cared for that color combination was it reminded me when my mom used to can salmon in glass jars and it would make me ill just looking at it, probably why I never developed a taste for salmon.

India Ivory+anything is a winner, especially when tri-fives are the subject. I'm a little partial to the + Matador Red myself.

A buddy bought a brand new 1956 Starfire in lavender (or whatever it was called ) and white and it was the best looking car in town. Also lowered to 3" off the ground and a McCulloch blower. Cool car in 1956
