Here is another feature from yesteryear that I think still holds up today. Neat little truck with Model A fenders (rears raised up on the bed) and the perfect stance. Powered by Hemi. Check out the bedsides where the rear fenders mount.

There was a guy somewhere on the HAMB building a car very closely inspired by this car, but I haven't seen an update in a long time. Killer car. I had a couple pics saved, but I cant seem to find them right now.
yes, and the wheels have been chromed. Andy Southard says this photo was taken in the Pan Pacific Auditorium at the 1955 L.A. Autorama. This car, like a lot of them, was constantly evolving, in 1956 it got some fancy fire-truck style gold leaf pinstriping, and there are photos later on in the early sixties with chromed wires on it.
Finally found a pic of the car the HAMBer was building. Love to know whats happening with this car...
