    just picked a barn stored 2 owner 49 fleetline 2 door , grandson disassembled and started to customize taillights , project stalled , now it mine to go forward with .. !

    My mom had a 1949 Chevy Fleetline 2-door. The color was Monaco Blue.

    Ideas , 1955 desoto grille, 53 desoto front and rear bumper , peaked hood , frenched lights , taillights in 1950 buick rear gaurds.

    Im 6foot 5 and the roof seems low already , ive had a chopped merc and a model to hard on me on long trips ,but would love to .

    I had the steering column in my '49 Fleet shortened 3". One of the best changes so far.
