    That Stude also competed often in ARCA in those days. I remember asking why he was permitted to run with a blower, and was told it didn't have a blower. I said they must be calling it a belt-driven air cleaner.

    Yes, Ford resumed production for post war cars to be the new 1946 models-----All 1942 up to Aug.1945 were Military models.
