    Here is how I mounted the hood. I welded nut plates behind the cowl and grill shell. I then welded four small tabs to the hood in all 4 corners. I picked up these vintage 1/4"x20 wing studs at a thrift store and used 4 of them to fasten the hood. It's very solid and works well.

  2. Any picture in regards to your steering setup ? Trying to see where the box is .... behind the left wheel ? Tasty roadster sir.

    I used a 40 Ford box. Its tucked nicely next to the flathead. Oh my does that cross steering work nice!

    Great hood mounting idea. Clean and functional.... a lot like the rest of the car.
    And yeah, more pics would be good!
