I just heard that we lost Steve Tansy last night. He has had a weak heart for a while now. Another great customizer gone

Sorry to hear. The great ones are leaving us way too often these days. My condolences to his family and friends. Vaya con Dios Mr. Tansy..........E
I hate to hear this. He built some amazing rides, that center door T that he had back in the 70's was the first T that I really dug. Condolences and prayers to family and friends.
Enjoyed seeing his Ford coupe in Indy at the Custom Car Revival. Any pics of the purple Merc with green flames. I always loved that car when I was a kid.
Sad to see that, He is one of those who's creations I always got a real kick out of. Got to see one or two at the shows when they were on tour over the years.
Condolences to the Tansy family and friends in thier loss of Steve. This is a hobby where your footprint of accomplishment can live on for many years to come. This however doesn't make this time any easier. Regards, Stogy
I was blessed to grow up in Steve's hometown and therefore have known him all of my life. I grew up (in the 70's) just a few blocks away from his shop and used to love to stop by and see what he was working on. He was always kind to me when I was a kid and I was blessed as an adult to call him my friend. Please pray for his wife Judy and their family at this time. Thanks for the memories my friend.
