Pam is a class act and has been a member of the Hamb in the past,I think a lot of juvenile comments ran her off and that's a shame. Pam hasn't been back here since August 2013.HRP Jungle Pam
Now works! I can open the link but cannot seem to get it to play. Tried three times before posting. Tried a fourth after posting, and of course it works.
Hey, that was really cool, thanks @harley rider. Should be a slot in the keyboard to accept a $10 bill, it was worth it.
I too enjoyed the interview..I met her once at CT Dragway; well does almost taking her out with an air tank count as a meeting?
Great interview, reminiscent of the era in so many aspects. Amazing how much excitement was created "back in the day" for a best of three match race between two cars...Jungle, Swenson & Lani. Boston Shaker or perhaps Al Sergini in the Black Magic Vega. E-town was a regular hangout for me and a couple of buddies every Sunday in '73 and '74, great times !
Man...........Wow So wonderful yet at the same time very sad. I really enjoyed seeing her and listening to her tell her story, she is truly the "First Lady of Drag Racing" Thanks so much for posting.
Exactly as Danny put it. A great interview to watch Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
What a fantastic lady! She tells it like it is, and no BS. I find her view on the NHRA interesting because I completely agree.
That was a great interview. Pam is a couple years older than I am and I think what she was doing at 18 and what I was doing and all I can say is that lady was mighty brave.
