I always loved 53/54 studes, weather Bonneville or street customs ,lets see them boys!

I used to love Studes too. Then this one shattered my spine and nearly killed me. They don't make good airplanes!

 

Anyone else build the Mr Speed model?

Is that a windshield used as a back glass on the stude pu? If so, do you know what car or truck the windshield's from? Seems like the top of the windshield is tilted back to conform with the vertical pillar and a bottom cowl was formed to give a cool custom look. Outstanding idea.

It's the stock rear window with the rear edge turned to the top.

Wow cool, now I can see that since you mentioned it. Stellar idea. I also didn't know this was built in the 50's, extra special.

 

What does it take to make a 55 look like a 53/54?

Is it just hood, grill and bumper? Fenders look like they might be the same.

I suspect that many of those looked like mine does now, they evidently packed this one with salt to make ice cream. You Studebaker guys know all about this, I envy the guys that own the Studebakers in the prior pictures, maybe, someday, if I live long enough, mine will resemble one of those

 

Here is 20 years worth of work, maybe in another 20?
