For whatever reason when I saw that picture of you and your brother sitting on your Edsel and I had a vision of you guys pulling a "Clark Griswold" with that thing and getting it airborne like Chevy Chase did with his station wagon in the Family Vacation movie.

Made it to Vegas. Long drive from Fallon to Ely to Vegas. Transmission made a funny crunchy sound this morning. Pulled out the overdrive cable and it seemed OK. Drove to Ely then drained the oil. Metallic. Put new oil in and kept going. Sounds OK but kind of worrisome.

 

Go man go. Put some sawdust in the trans.

 

That's a good idea. We'll keep driving. Might see if I can find another transmission??

I think it's overdrive planetary sparkly. Should be OK on the highway.... Oh yeah, we are doing good in the rally.
