^^^^^Larry, getting the windows in the revamped doors is just another "opportunity!";)
An opportunity to show others how to do somethin'!:)
If you had, the Bones might have side windows, too!!;)
    Just sayin':D:D

First time I`ve seen the car, one great looking little deuce coupe.

  4. Larry was a 3window guy long before he built that beauty. HRP

  6. A coupe that would fulfill anybody's dream. Can't describe perfection, but I know it when I see it. I've seen it here.

As a disclaimer I don't know how a 32 ford is set up, and I'm not even caring that there isn't any side windows but I'm curious how you could do it.

An access slot in the very top of the door to drop the glass down into the door with a little cover that gets weather stripping over it was my first thought.

Followed by the inner door skin having an access point which led me to...

A removable top half of the door skin with the glass and mech attached like a 41-8 ford Tudor has in back.

Sorry this is the only photo I have handy of one as I was tearing one of mine apart for clean up and new... Well everything. Held in place with three fat screws on each side. One side the holes are slotted vertical and the other side horizontal for adjustment. The bottom has three small screws that mate to a flange and the garnish molding goes on last. With a chopped car you wouldn't need a full depth run because you haven't a full depth window!
    image.jpeg
    * top of the unit is to the right, those two bumps retain the garnish molding

Anyhow back to that shiney black car

This mechanism would also give you the roll back feature like a 34 coupe has I believe

hard to believe that a coupe that sold for big bucks doesn't have windows, why not just build a roadster with a cloth top?

  13. It's a Hot Rod,who made a rule that they have to be finished,I really suspect Larry never intended to install glass in the pneumonia holes! HRP

Bruce is a card...At the 2010 L.A. Roadsters show, he was driving the Doane Spencer car out of the building, I was standing there, he stopped to say 'hi'...I asked "Where ya goin'?"
He answered (loudly enough for a small crowd of onlookers to hear)
"They thought it was ugly, I'm takin' it home..." I laughed, but the majority of the crowd took him serious.

Awesome! I have slide in windows on my Sedan, never use them, whenever I asked my wife if I should bring them along in case of rain, she says no, I don't like the windows, we're not made of shit or sugar, we're not going to melt.

    I stopped asking.

Bruce went by us in this car during the poker run on Sat. That thing sounds as good as it looks going down the road and standing still. So cool that its driven.

Cool ass car... but I think it needs a wing somewhere... front like a f1 car or rear like a Datona 'cause that thing looks like it can fly. I want one.
