    Connie Kalitta’s Cammer Ford-powered Bounty
Hunter ran over 200 mph. This is just its second
    outing

“Sneaky Pete” Robinson’s Tinker Toy fueler
also used Cammer power. Robinson, one of
the innovators of the sport, was later killed in a
racing accident. Robinson claimed the NHRA
Top Fuel Championship with Ford power in
    1966.

The Kenz and Leslie team ran both carbureted and supercharged wedge Ford-powered
    dragsters starting in 1960

427-powered Mustangs, like the one of “Mr. Ford” Bob DuBrock, caused
considerable “Aggravation” for the competition in the NASCAR Ultra Stock ranks in
    1965

It is Eddie Hill, but I am not entirely sure that he is racing Lefty. The frame looks like Lefty's, but the body looks more like the Bayer & Frietas car that Hayden Profitt drove....anyone else?

    Hey Dave,

You are probably right, the Mudersbach exhaust pipes look different. The speed of the dragsters may have affected the visual look of the header pipes. After watching all of the videos, one silver bodied twin Chevy dragster looks like another, but Lefty’s header pipes are distinct. I did notice something… look at the parachutes, they are exactly the same in each video. So, it is a mystery for sure. I took so many minutes of movies that I was sure it looked like Lefty M. You be the judge…anyone?

    Hello,
Here is another one for everyone to see that parachute that looks very similar to the original post video.

  27. The question was about Eddie's car, so I didn't pay attention to the other car. It, in fact, is the Bayer & Frietas twin Chevy. I should have recognized it right off. Jack Bayer's shop was right around the corner from ours. The car was there all the time.
